Sometimes It's the Little Updates...

That make a big difference. Especially when there's not much else going for the exterior of our house.

Since Spring (and nearly Summer, judging by this heat wave!) is here, we simply added a $5 hanging pot of purple pansies and a couple outdoor throw pillows from Target to our porch to brighten things up a bit.

It never ceases to amaze me how a few quick and easy changes can make such a big difference.

Now, I just have to try to keep those pansies alive longer than my poor orchid...
