I Give Up

Every year I think I can do it, and every single time I fail.

I just cannot keep an orchid alive.

Remember this beautiful orchid a month or two ago when I bought it?





Yeah, now it looks like THIS.




Next time I get the "oh, orchids can't really be THAT hard to keep alive" thought in my head, I'm going to try to remember the fate of this poor thing -

and invest in some black-thumb-proof faux orchids.

    They sell them at.......Ikea! :) I haven't tried growing real ones but everyone thinks "mine" are real. lol!

    Oh man, I hear ya! Someday I'll come up with a list of things that grow without needed maintenance.
