So I was right (mwahahaha!) and Tom was wrong. But that's okay, it was all in good fun, anyways. And honestly, boy or girl, we couldn't be happier - all that mattered to us was that he/she was healthy, and he is very healthy, so it's a win-win!
We revealed the gender at a little Gender Party we threw on Saturday for our families, and we had so much fun with it! (for more info and pics visit my pregnancy blog)
And now here's a virtual cookie for all the winners who guessed "boy" on the fun little poll we had last week!

Did you do some sort of gender-reveal for your children? Have you ever heard of a gender party? (it seems like most people here haven't!)

I just heard about these gender reveal parties from a girl at school, and I think it's a fun way to tell everyone. In her case, she had the gender revealed to her at the party- i guess there are a lot of ways you could do it. I'm going to head over to your other blog to see the pics. I'm so happy you're having a boy and that he's healthy!!! :)
ReplyDeleteYou had a gender cake huh? I heard about those, how fun! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteI'm just glad I'm going to be Uncle Clllyyyyydeeeee!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOn a different note, I forgot to tell you guys that we got a Dyson Ball vacuum!!!! We didn't get the one you guys have; ours is 2 models lower(the $400 one-we weren't able to find any sells anywhere) We love it!!! I think the only difference between ours, the 1 you guys have and the model in between is the physical size and 1 or 2 features!!! But we might not have ever got it if I hadn't remembered the review you wrote on it!!!
Congratulations, I'm heading over to your pregnancy blog now to check out the gender party, what a cute idea!

Having a boy first is perfect! Okay, but I'm biased.
