Yep, this past weekend I managed to master it.
Master what, you ask?
Master the art of doing nothing.
Okay, okay, so I admit that's just a really fancy way of saying I was lazy and didn't do hardly anything home improvement-related this weekend!
Although we did watch the movie Eat Pray Love. Hence the "art of doing nothing" reference.
That counts as doing something, right?
Anyone else have a lazy weekend, too?

I love that quote! I really love to do nothing some days... okay most days. :)
ReplyDeleteSide note: I took your advice on the greek yogurt with honey--I'm hooked! It's SO much better than the plain!
I love this post :) I too find a lot of appreciation for just doing nothing- since starting blogging/ home renovating I find myself always working on a post, the house, or constantly online looking at other blogs and ideas. Although I love it, sometimes I think it has taken over a chunk of my life. So when my husband and I just sit on the couch for a TV show or movie I truly treasure that time. Being lazy is necessary sometimes I think :)
ReplyDeleteMy weekend was not lazy (dd's prom and parties among other things) but I always enjoy one when I get it.
ReplyDeleteThanks, guys. I totally agree - sometimes, you just need to be lazy. :)
