I confess: I was embarrassed to show you the true photos of this room.
You'll see why.
Needless to say, this room
Junk overflowed from everywhere, clothes were scattered about, and we even had a tv antennae in there. There was little, to no, organizational system - a result of knowing that we were going to remodel the entire room anyways, so we figured: what was the point?
Needless to say, after a few hours we had the room free of just about everything, and it was time to begin prepping!
Are you thinking of your own office remodel? Ever been embarrassed by an area of your house, too? (please say yes - make me feel better!)

I'm extremely embarrassed by my second bedroom right now. Try as I might, it seems to always end up looking like a storage unit. This room is going to be cool!
ReplyDeleteYES, and I'm not just saying that to make you feel better! We have the exact same situation going on in our office right now. Piles of paper and junk everywhere (including the floor). No organization. It's up there on my to-do list. I'm excited to see what you do with yours!
ReplyDeleteI have a bedroom that will not be shown on the blog for a long time - it will probably end up being an office/guest room. It is a wreck! Don't feel bad.
ReplyDeleteps - The paneling on the walls is really cool in that room! I hope you're going to keep it.
Our office doesn't need any type of remodeling per say... however I want to turn the closet into some built in/open shelving and I want to do something about all the computer cords! ...oh and new office furniture :)
ReplyDeleteyep. Except it's just hubby's office. And it doesn't help that I kicked him out of our closet and he has to keep his clothes in there, too. :)
ReplyDeleteHeck, woman, my bedroom is a hot mess because it's been storage since the fire. We all have "those spots."
ReplyDeleteThanks, guys - it's nice to know I'm not the only one with "those spots"! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd no worries, Sara - we think the paneling is awesome, too, and so it's definitely staying (not to mention taking it down would be a nightmare, haha). It's just getting a little facelift...
Thanks for stopping by!

Oh, heck yes. My office is miles ahead of where it used to be, but there's still a big ol' pile of papers covering the desk. And the basement? Total nightmare. It's a mess. And it's cold and dark and smells funny so I never want to be down there long enough to do anything about it. Someday, though....
