Freebie Friday: Our First Ever Giveaway!

Happy Friday!

Another work week down and the weekend is about to start. I think that Friday is always cause for a little celebration, don't you?

And what better way to celebrate than with free stuff?

Well hang on to your keyboards, folks, and stay in your chair (I know I almost fell out of it!) because we're doing our First Ever Giveaway! And boy, is it sa-weet!

CSN Stores is sponsoring our first giveaway, and if you haven't checked them yet, you definitely need to! They have over 200 stores online, with everything from cookware to couches, tv stands to home improvement tools, art and bedding and much, much more! They seriously have everything, and at great prices, too. You could furnish your entire house or business on just one site with one shopping cart! How cool is that? So I suggest that after you enter the giveaway (because c'mon, who wouldn't enter this giveaway?) you pop on over there to check that place out.

In light of our current kitchen remodel (and DIY granite tile countertop!), we've been dying to get our hands on some real cookware, and thought you might, too. With these awesome name brands and bright cheery colors, who wouldn't want to cook? They are so festive and fun - I'm already envious of the winner!

Cuisinart Round Classic Waffle Maker in Brushed Stainless

Le Creuset 9" Square Baking Dish with Bonus 5" Baking Dish in Caribbean

Reston Lloyd Calypso Basics 7 Quart Colander in Lime

Marcus Cookware 8" Eco-Satin Fry Pan

Ten Strawberry Street Oslo Serveware 21" Rolled Coupe Platter

Emile Henry Rectangular Platter

But if you're not a savory chef in the kitchen (you guys know who you are!), CSN Stores was nice enough to give you guys another wonderful option: throw pillows! In all sorts of various prints and colors, and one of them is bound to tickle your fancy.

Lizzie Pillow Pack

Static Square Pillow

Gio Aqua Boudoir Pillow

Reed Organic Rectangle Pillow

McKenzie Floral Pillow

Wavelength Print Pillow

So who's excited for this giveaway? What's your favorite? We're torn between the Rolled Coupe Platter and the Wavelength Print Pillow - we think the Rolled Couple Platter would look amazing on our new kitchen countertops, especially if it's filled with fresh limes to bring in the bright green of Spring, but the Wavelength Print Pillow would also look equally good in our living room to bring in a little life and movement. It's a good thing we're not eligible to win anything, because we like them all!

One lucky winner of our amazing milestone First Ever Giveaway will win one (1) item of their choice, above. See the rules below to enter!

1) This giveaway is open to all US and Canadian residents.
2) You must leave your email or blog address, and give me a way to contact you if you win.

I like actually baking and cooking and decorating.

    msgb245 at gmail dot com

  2. Congrats on your first giveaway!!! That is so awesome!
I like both cooking and decorating but I'd rather win the cooking stuff!!

  3. I Love Love Love the Ten Strawberry Street Oslo Serveware 21" Rolled Coupe Platter

I enjoy cooking over decoration, but with this, little gem, I can do both!!

C'mon, fluff me up with this new platter... Saweeeet!!

  4. Le Crueset baking dishes-love!love!love! I have really gotten into baking lately, so prefer that to decorating, atleast for now. I'm crossing my fingers to win!

  5. Wow, great giveaway!!

My husband does all the cooking, but I do like to eat so I think I would choose the waffle maker (but the bakeware is great too!).

  6. Fluff me up!

You can always change decorating, but adding paint or fabric to a bad dish will always taste awful.

  7. I love decorating a lot more than cooking, but I had to compromise with the bf and we have a no throw pillow policy on the bed (he thinks they're so unnecessary!) and the dog would destroy them on the couch, so I would pick the Le Creuset baking dishes.

    Let's get cooking!

    Awesome giveaway Chelsea!!

  8. Let's get cookin'!

I love the Baking Dishes - the color is awesome! I love to cook, my family really appreciates it too. Otherwise we might all starve!

  9. I love the calypso 7 quart colander, especially since it comes in that beautiful lime green. I am a fan of all things green! Cooking and decorating are both close to the top of my list, but in this case i'm going to have to say "Let's get cooking!". Everything is so great, it's hard to choose. :)

  10. Let's get cookin'! Sam's the chef, and I know my man would LOVE the baking dishes or the colander. And wow, your first give awesome is that?

I promise to blog you in

  11. lets get cooking!

that rolled coupe platter looks so chic!

    Waves from!

  12. let's get cookin! cooking is fun!

    lime colander

  13. i just subscribed as well(see Nala comment).

  14. Let's get cookin'!

I love to cook. Really really love it. I just don't get to do it as much as I'd like. Also? Totally awesome first giveaway!!

  15. Ahhh! I forgot to tell you what I want. I'm absolutely drooling over that colander. I heart green.

Also, I'm currently subscribed to your blog. Because I love you guys. : )

  16. Fluff me UP!!!!!!! :) It's way too hard to pick between cooking and decorating! LOVE both! But....we are trying to redo a few rooms in our house, so I would pick the Reed Organic pillow! I think it would be lovely on our bed. I am already a follower too!

  17. Let's Get Cookin'! I'm loving the rolled coupe platter!

At the moment, I much prefer decorating to cooking. Both are still a misadventure for me, and I find that my decorating projects can often distract from getting any cooking done :) Maybe when my kitchen is finished, it will be so inviting I'll want to cook more!

I'm now a follower on your blog (it's lovely BTW), but I am having trouble finding the fan page on my Facebook phone app. I'll have to add it when I get home this evening.

Drop by anytime to my blog!

  18. Congratulations on your first giveaway! Amazing! And so deserved after your amazing kitchen transformation!

IHeart decorating much more than cooking, however, I am trying to dabble in the cooking department more frequently {my husband on the other hand is an amazing cook!} If I were to win, I would pick the Rectangular Platter.

    Let's get cooking!

    Congrats again Chelsea!

  19. I just "Like"d you on Facebook also, and I will give you a shout out on my Facebook page as well!

    Thanks again!

  20. Hey congrats!

    My e-mail is
    My blog is

Fluff me up because I'm better at decorating than cooking!

  21. Let's get Cookin'! I love to cook & decorate but my cooking skills are lacking! I would love the Le Creuset Square Baking Dishes! They would match my kitchen remodel perfecting and I'm pretty good baker!

  22. I just subscribed to your reader! :)

  23. And I know "like" you on facebook!

Thanks to Jen from for pointing me in the direction of another awesome DIY blog to follow.

  24. Let's Get Cookin'
I would choose the Cuisinart Waffle maker.
I prefer cooking because I was born without the decorating gene that most women. My husband is in charge of decorating at our house.

  25. oh, oh i can't decide - i love to cook, but i love decorating even more. i think the color of the Le Creuset Baking Dishes is AMAZING and therefore it fits both categories - it would look fantastic with some fruit in the smaller one on a tabletop.
so, i guess, "Let's Get Cookin'!" and i'll go make my own pillows...
found you from iheart organizing, and "like"d you on facebook :)

  26. Fluff Me Up!! I love the McKensie Floral Pillow!

I like both decorating and cooking. I love when I have the time to make new dishes that taste good and are simple and quick to make, Cooking Light and Eating Well are my favorite magazines.

As for decorating, we just moved into a new house that is almost 3times the size of our old house! I am almost overwhelmed with the amount of decorating and landscaping that needs done. I am totally addicted to reading your blog and others for fun, easy and cost effective decorating ideas.

  27. made it JUST IN TIME !

I'm moving into my first apartment at the end of the summer. I'm excitied to learn to cook real meals and would love to learn in the baking dishes! The color is also perfect for me because the caribbean just happens to be my favorite place :)
